呜呼哀哉！痛啊！还记得上次你有了宝宝回国的时候我还在电话里开玩笑说你真厉害，都当上美国人的爹了，你在电话那头的笑声还记忆犹新，而你人却已经不在了。真遗憾当时没能见上一面。四年同窗，转眼就天人永隔。愿胖乎乎的你在天堂里也永远笑眯眯的。

I feel shock with the new. In my memory, Lei was always a lovely boy and hard-working student. As the vice director for his master degree, I enjoyed talking with him on wonderful ideas. I was so happy for his scientific publications in America and the birth of his boy. When He came back, we met in Beijing and talked about his dream. All these were gone and I'll always remember I once had such a wonderful student and friend.
